Freedom

When a trace of dawn light steals into my room,
I know this day has begun,
The prologue of winter has already arrived,
The shadows the sunlight leaves through the curtain,
Moving with the wind, it carries away my panic,
Haven’t slept through till dawn in years,
Picking up the heater,
Want to find a person,
Want a cup of milk tea,
Go up the mountain to watch the sunrise,
The ability to be moved, the moments of being moved,
In this barbaric age, you ask where the destination lies?
Thinking back to that year,
Open the door, look out,
The fresh, slightly salty sea breeze blowing in my face,
Then freedom is the direction…
